Subsequently, he underwent gastroscopy, CT scan and biopsy, which revealed gastric cancer. Consequently, he underwent the surgery successfully. Post-operatively, Mr Makie’s feeding was managed with nasogastric tube feeding until healing of his esophagus followed by jejunostomy.
